15 x 22 watercolor, arches rough, keep the colors lively and the sky light. The color palette for this one is cobalt, cerulean blue, cobalt violet and raw sienna for the sky. The houses are painted with a mixture of cobalt violet, cobalt blue, burnt sienna with a little piece of raw sienna, try not to overmix these colors or they will become a deathly gray. Hill in the foreground is raw sienna, new gamboge, olive green and burnt sienna. I painted this piece with a 16 an 12 round because I want the edges to be loose and expressive.
