Good art is the result of hard work and dedication. It happens only when the artist finds his or her own story to tell — and then learns to do so with his or her own unique language.
I am reading a whole lot of stuff about the painters and the atmosphere of the original Abstract Expressionist in New York City. The reading of and about Motherwell have absolutely opened my eyes to a different way to approach not only my art but my teaching. Look out for the new blog tomorrow.
