All things come to an end and this wonderful 2 week workshop in Maine has come to an end. It was the best workshop in Maine I have ever taught. The students were wonderful, and the weather was Maine, foggy, rainy, cool, sunny, warm, breezy and down right spectacular. I am now back in Paris Virginia at my cabin listening to my dog willow chew on a deer antler that she found in the woods and trying to get ready for teaching my normal schedule of 5 classes a week. I hope to keep the blog going and get some poetry back on the site. Here are my last three plein aire paintings from Maine and they are all watercolor; I have found that doing quick 45 minute plein aire demonstrations in oil is too difficult and not as focused as I like my lessons to be. Enjoy the paintings and come and paint with me next September in Rockland Maine.
