This is a demonstration I did for my watercolor class a week ago, and I must say it really was exactly what I was hoping for when I started it. It was all about the wonderful shape that was created by the trees, hedges and the cool shadow across the road. I kept it really loose and very transparent. As an observation for those of you struggling with why you should try to work in other mediums, I will tell you that since I have been working in oils my watercolors have gotten better. I now paint watercolors with a more direct and fresh approach something that was missing from my work several years ago.16×20 watercolor on 300lb arches paper
