I have been working on a couple of bigger paintings with a theme of cow, barns and hillside. They are for a client and I am offering a variety of pieces. They are bigger than I have every worked in oil but have done this size in my watercolors, and acrylics so it didn’t freak me out too much. Actually to tell the true as with other mediums the larger size is easier for me it just seems to give me more room to move and to use more expressive brushwork. Well lesson is try something bigger for a few paintings and see how your painting improves. “Galways in Camden” 24×30 oil on canvas
“Across the Street” 24×28 oil on linen panel
Another good lesson in your two oil paintings is to study both compositions. I think they are magnificent. Thank you for sharing. Respectfully Mercedes
