A few years back I got this wild idea to go up to Maine and paint Pemaquid Lighthouse on New Years Day so I headed up to impose on the wonderful hospitality of my family in Raymond, Maine. It was gorgeous and snowy but it is only now that I find the images interesting to paint. I would drive out on the rural roads my back way to my favorite haunts snapping pictures along the way. Somewhere on the journey, saw this wonderful scene, I call it Morse Road but I am sure it was some other road. Enjoy.“Morse Road” 11×17 oil on linen panel
