In today’s watercolor painting I was trying to create a strong feeling of light with sparkling colors and colorful grays. I made sure that the scrapes were made at exactly the right time, just as the wash went from wet to damp, or just lost the glisten. I used really bold strong scrape marks and avoided to many picky little details. Make the rocks big, Think icing a cake.
