Sorry about the unfocused image I really never noticed it until now I can reshoot it down the road. Here were are back at a similar theme some dark shapes against a light background, yes they are cows, but learn to draw and your world of options will greatly expand. The reason that this is a fun lesson is the last stop, mixing the dark and scraping the light off of the dark to create the feeling of light on a very dark object. The dark is alizirin crimson, thalo green, with a touch of indigo and burnt sienna. Make it a one pass dark, try to mix it just right and put it on then scrape the light modeling areas with a rounded blade knife after the paint has just about dry if you do it too soon the area will be too light.

I love this! Never tried scraping in a few highlight shapes in cows. Love how you’ve made something as uncomplicated at this, so interesting! I’ve enjoyed your videos too!
Thanks, I try to keep the subject uncomplicated but make them look detailed. Keep watching the videos a new one should be posted every week.
Yes, moooving indeed!
