I am trying to keep this painting really simple with just a gesture of the landscape and weather, I think it works okay, but I think I will give another go this afternoon. I am still not feeling well but I want to keep painting, so you are stuck with me. My palette is cobalt blue, thalo yellow green, cobalt violet and hansa yellow. It has the potential to be really exciting and light filled.
Using a 1.5 in wash brush I float in the sky with just hint of the foreground. I try to get the movement in the lights of the sky and give it enough movement and character to be a great distant plane.
Continuing with the large brush put some movement in the front leaving interesting white shapes with texture on the edges.
I really like the contrasts in this 🙂 Good of you to paint and post when you’re not feeling well!
Great lights and the colors are really pleasant to watch mixing. 😉
I love the simplicity of this paintings. Grabbed my attention immediately. I love it.
I really love how you’ve simplified this! Its amazing just how few brush strokes it takes to get the point across!
