This is a pretty simple little painting but the addition of the figures will throw you off because they immediately, wrongly of course, make you think that precision is required. Get over that thought, paint them loose with a color feel not a detail feeling and then within reason try to preserve them but don’t squeeze your brush so hard it breaks. Oh I am calling in sick today I have a spring cold and must got to work teaching my Chevy Chase friends I wish I could go to bed but not in the cards for a self employed artist.
