I just can’t seem to stop adjusting a playing with my paintings but I feel justified in this because it was Diebenkorn who stated in his writings that the first and second pass at a painting was never the right statement. He believed that the first impression was always wrong and that the hard work started when he moved in to really refine and adjust his direction on the piece. I am really beginning to believe in his philosophy.

Steve, in all cases, I really like the changes you've made, especially this one on the left (with the blue streak at the bottom).
