I have this problem with my paintings which manifests itself when they sit around my studio for too long. After awhile the paintings that I did a few months back begin to develop personality defects that make living with them impossible. The things that made me so happy when I originally painted them now begin to grate on me and all I can do is escort them out of my studio via the change. I had 2 paintings that originally got me started on the Africa series and after too many viewings they fell into the change or perish category. I will show you both versions the one on the left is the original and the one on the right the newer version.
